When Ecco, the $1 billion-plus Danish shoe company, wanted to mark its 50th anniversary in a memorable fashion, it chose a custom anniversary keepsake magazine as a way to put its best foot forward. The colorful magazine is filled with captivating insights about Ecco’s rich history, from its founding by industry legend Karl Toosbury to becoming the worldwide lifestyle brand it is today. The editorial format is a unique hybrid, designed to appeal to the interests of both shoe industry professionals and consumers. Articles span from Ecco’s passionate design principles—resulting in its shoes being built like no others—to exclusive interviews with several of its pro golf endorsers, including Hall of Famer Fred Couples. Lastly, the magazine’s design mirrors that of Ecco’s Scandinavian aesthetic: clean, modern and striking.
